Jeremy J. Comeau was elected President of the National Federation of Stonewall Democrats in 2024 and has dedicated his career to labor advocacy, political organizing, and advancing LGBTQ+ representation. Jeremy is committed to building inclusive leadership and fostering equity in all facets of his work.

Currently, Jeremy serves as Associate Director of Labor Action at the Massachusetts Nurses Association, where he strengthens unionized nurses' collective power and ensures contractual rights are upheld. His experience includes managing Quentin Palfrey's campaign for Massachusetts Attorney General in 2022 and providing strategic technology and training expertise as Director of Technology and Training for the Massachusetts Democratic Party. Jeremy's efforts have consistently focused on mobilizing grassroots support, building coalitions, and advancing Democratic values.

Jeremy’s career in public service spans more than two decades, beginning as an elected member of the Canton Planning Board, where he played a key role in drafting the Canton Master Plan and securing the redevelopment of the Paul Revere Heritage Site. In Provincetown, Jeremy leads modernization efforts as Chair of the Charter Review Committee and supports community planning as an alternate member of the Planning Board.

Jeremy’s extensive contributions to the Democratic Party include serving as Co-Chair of the Bay State Stonewall Democrats, a Massachusetts Democratic State Committee member, and an elector and Secretary of the 2024 Massachusetts Electoral College. He is also a member of the LGBTQ+, Charter Amendments, and Affirmative Action Outreach Subcommittees of the Massachusetts Democratic State Committee.

A resident of Provincetown, Massachusetts, Jeremy lives with his fiancé, David, and is driven by a commitment to equity, grassroots empowerment, and advancing LGBTQ+ representation. He holds a proven track record of advocacy, coalition-building, and strengthening organizational infrastructure to achieve lasting change.
